The location to the Cathedral etc was good and perfect.

Evening meal(Saturday) only two choices of main meal available out of seven.When we said we’d leave it we were then offered two portions of fish or chicken.We opted for the fish but very overcooked.

The hotel provided reasonable prices. I had a good stay at this cheap venue. Liked the standard twin room with breakfast, and magnificent and absolutely perfect location on main shopping street. The staff were excellent and helpful hole time of my stay. The service was great with parking nearby. Early check-in was a bonus.

Unfortunately Wi-Fi was very poor.

Decent breakfast, but not clean

I stayed for a night in a Standard Twin Room. The breakfast was pretty awesome and the morning staff were super nice. But honestly, cleanliness was a big issue. My room felt kinda dirty and uncomfortable, a downer. The bar area was alright, though. Wouldn't rush back, to be honest.

We loved exploring nearby sights like the Goodwood Festival of Speed and the Racecourse. The atmosphere was lively, and the staff were super friendly. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of options. Just a heads-up, on some days, the pub may not serve dinner, so check ahead if that's important for your stay!

The advertised rate was lower than what I paid, frustrating.

Consider asking for a room away from the pub noise if you're staying on a busy weekend.

Breakfast was fantastic with a super clean bedding set, ensuring a comfortable night's sleep. The location allows for a pleasant walk to the nearby theatre. The room required some improvement, as the mirror placement was inconvenient, and there was a damp issue in the carpet that needs attention. A fan in the room was appreciated, but I expected more from the amenities provided.

The culinary delights, especially the warm, buttery croissants at breakfast, are to die for. Plus, the charming courtyard dining setup. Loved that the separate accommodation kept things quiet too.

Had a bit of a letdown with the bathroom, what with a persistent leak making things damp and less than pleasant. Also noticed some worn-out carpets which could use a refresh-just took the edge off an otherwise lovely stay.
